On The Media: Define "normal"

Part 1:
Define "normal" is a 50 minute segment which describes how the presidential candidates are being wrongly diagnosed. This diagnoses can either be describing the physical or mental health of Republican nominee, Donald Trump, or the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.
The most important factor to take into consideration when discussing the two nominees is bias.  Each media outlet boast a political bias which will shape the direction of the "false" diagnoses. This is even true when discussing Donald Trumps assumed "arrogance". The only side of Donald Trump that the media is portraying is one where Trump is making bold and racy statements. This is leading to some people mimicing this behavior. This is what is known as "Trumpism".
We do not get to see what we can assume is the "real" or "normal" Trump. This is just as true when discussing Ms. Clinton.  Some media outlets are making Clinton out to be the most desirable nominee. Where other outlets are making Clinton out to be a "nut" or how she has a degenerative disorder.
Knowing this, On The Media podcast expresses how this is not the first time this has happened during a presidential race.  Though this may be one of the most media influenced races, it is by no mean the first time political bias has occurred in the media. This political bias has led to a loss of integrity within the media, regardless of political stance. We can all agree to disagree with the media. At liberals and conservatives can agree on at least this one.
If Clinton and Trump supporters are so far apart with their political views, they why are both parties making the same errors withing their campaigns?  Both Clinton and Trump have mad jabs at each other when discussing their.  Clinton mocks Trumps mental health. Clinton is claiming that Trump is not fit to be the commander in chief.  Trump on the other hand has recently began starting rumors that Clinton is having health complications.  Both of these are almost breaking the "Goldwater Rule".  The "Goldwater Rule" is supposedly used to prevent a nominee from using a health professional and their professional diagnoses to prove that the opposing nominee is experiences some form of mental of physical health complications. Ethically, is this something that the nominees should be participating in?

Part 2
Climate change has been a topic of discussion since I can remember.  Recently President Obama visited California to address the wildfires and drought that California has been experiencing.  Obama has been accused of not taking the initiative to solve climate change. According to this second segment of the podcast, climate change has not been receiving the proper coverage in the media. For example, the wildfires have recently been receiving names so that viewers can follow the damage. Essentially, so the coverage can gain more viewers.  Another example is that Louisiana is experiencing flooding and physically shrinking in size.  Warmer temperature means more heavy rains, which contributes to the coastal erosion and shrinking of Louisiana's iconic "boot" shape. Americans are said to be ignorant toward the importance of these events.  According to the podcast, this is due to our map applications on our phones. Generally, we focus these apps within about a mile or so.  If more people were to see this broader scope and the shrinking of the "boot", more social justice might be happening.

My Take:
This presidential race has been one for the books. Never has our country been more divided. Regardless of who wins the election, the division appears as if it will continue. The techniques being used by the nominees has impart led to this divisiveness. We have all seen Trumps crazy antics, which actually seem to be why he won the nomination in the first place. This being said, Is he a fascist demagogue? That is for you to decide. As for Clinton, she is dirty, but has come out cleaner than Trump thus far. As of late, the media expressed some opinions that Clinton is experiencing some physical ailments. All I can really say if you don't agree with these two nominees, then vote third party.  A lesser evil is still evil!

Climate change will be one of the largest obstacles that this millennial generation will have to conquer. Regardless to what the media says, we all have or will have experienced the effects of climate change in our lifetime. The sooner that more attention brought to climate change, the more likely our society can reverse its effects.
